Guilt-Free Ice Cream Brand Go Zero Raises ₹30 Crore, Eyes Tier-1 And Tier-2 Expansion

Guilt-free ice cream brand Go Zero has secured ₹30 crores in a Series A funding round from existing investors DSG Consumer Partners, Saama Capital, V3 Ventures, and others. This takes it total funding to date to $6 million. Founded in July 2022, Go Zero says it recorded its highest-ever sales in January 2025, crossing ₹5 crore in revenue, and claims to have a near 70% market share in the guilt-free ice cream category on quick-commerce platforms.

Guilt-free ice cream brand Go Zero has raised ₹30 crore in a Series A funding round from existing investors DSG Consumer Partners, Saama Capital, V3 Ventures, and others, taking its total funding to date to $6 million.

With this fresh capital, the company is doubling down on expansion, launching new formats like guilt-free Cassata and expanding into tier-1 and tier-2 cities, including Jaipur, Surat, and Baroda. Founder & CEO Kiran Shah said, “This summer is all about consolidating the kind of growth we’ve seen over the past couple of seasons. As quick commerce expands, it’s the perfect launch pad for us to gain double-digit market share in the summer season.”

The brand’s rapid growth has been fuelled by quick commerce, which has seen significant traction in India. The company claims to have a nearly 70% market share in the guilt-free ice cream category on quick-commerce platforms. “Ice cream is the second-most searched keyword on quick-commerce platforms, just after milk. We ensured that we doubled down on this channel,” Shah said.

According to Shah, the shift towards guilt-free indulgence has been driven by evolving consumer preferences, especially post-pandemic. “Post-pandemic, consumers were looking for desserts without sugar, refined flour, or palm oil. We created a proprietary blend of sugar replacement that offers the same taste and indulgence as regular ice cream but with 50% fewer calories,” he explained.

Looking ahead, Go Zero plans to expand beyond ice cream, exploring categories such as shakes and chocolates under its zero-sugar proposition. “We will evaluate what other categories we can extend our zero-sugar proposition to,” Shah said, hinting at further innovation in the healthier indulgence space.
