Two College Girls from Gwalior Are Transforming Street Advertising with Tyro Ads – Srepublic | Startup News | Startup Ecosystem | Startup Stories

Innovation doesn’t wait for age or experience — and Sachi Pandey and Anshika Sharma are living proof!

While most college students focus on exams and job placements, Sachi Pandey, a B.Tech student, and Anshika Sharma, a MCA student from MITS Gwalior, were busy building something extraordinary: their startup.

During their studies, they observed a unique opportunity in the market. While thousands of E-rickshaws were already operating in every city, especially in Tier-2 towns like Gwalior, these vehicles had limited earning options apart from passenger rides. At the same time, most marketing agencies were still using old-school methods like wall posters, banners, or static billboards.

Sachi and Anshika spotted the gap — what if e-rickshaws could be used as mobile advertising platforms?

They realized that E-rickshaws reach areas where cabs or autos don’t go easily, and they have high visibility among the local population. So instead of using paper posters, they took a bold step — they installed small LED screens or tablets inside e-rickshaws to display brand advertisements.

This smart move did two amazing things:

  • It helped E-rickshaw drivers earn extra income without any additional work.

  • It gave brands a new and wider reach — right into neighborhoods and streets where traditional ads don’t work well.

That’s how Tyro Ads was born — an innovative startup turning E-rickshaws into digital advertising vehicles.

Currently operating in Gwalior, Tyro Ads has completed its MVP (Minimum Viable Product) phase. Both e-rickshaw owners and local brands are excited about this new approach and are showing great interest in collaborating with Tyro Ads.

At such a young age, Sachi and Anshika have not only built a revenue-generating business but also inspired many other young entrepreneurs in Gwalior and beyond.

Tyro Ads is redefining hyperlocal marketing — making every e-rickshaw a moving media platform.

Let’s support these young innovators and help Tyro Ads reach every corner of the country!
