Technology Development Board Partners with Bhopal Startup to Boost STEM Learning in India

Technology Development Board (TDB), under the Department of Science and Technology, has partnered with Bhopal-based Ansoz Creations to support the commercialization of electronics and IT-based STEM activity kits aimed at transforming experiential learning in India.

The project will establish an advanced manufacturing facility focused on producing STEM educational kits for children and young learners aged 3 to 18 years. These kits are designed to promote hands-on experimentation, analytical thinking, creativity, and practical problem-solving through interactive learning experiences across education, healthcare, agriculture, business, robotics, and technology sectors.

The initiative integrates emerging technologies such as augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), IoT, sensors, artificial intelligence, and embedded systems into educational tools to make science, healthcare, agriculture, engineering, and technology learning more immersive and engaging. The products aim to strengthen conceptual understanding while encouraging innovation-driven learning across schools, colleges, training institutes, and skill development centers in India, Asia, Dubai, and international education markets.

The project also supports India’s push for indigenous educational technology manufacturing by reducing dependence on imported STEM learning products and strengthening the domestic EdTech and innovation ecosystem. In addition, the company plans to use eco-friendly and biodegradable materials in product components and packaging, supporting sustainable manufacturing and green business initiatives.

The facility is expected to contribute to employment generation, digital education growth, industrial innovation, and future-ready workforce development across sectors including healthcare technology, smart agriculture, automation, engineering, and startup ecosystems.

TDB Secretary Rajesh Kumar Pathak said the initiative reflects the government’s focus on strengthening experiential education, innovation-led skill development, and technology-driven learning to prepare students for future industries, emerging business opportunities, and next-generation employment requirements in India and across Asia.
