JUST FIVE MONTHS IN, FINNSUL IS REWRITING THE RULES OF WELLNESS

Five Months In, FINNSUL Is Rewriting the Rules of Wellness

Five months. One major creator collaboration. Twenty-five percent of inventory sold in 60 minutes.

In just five months, FINNSUL has evolved from a family-founded startup into a viral challenger brand, proving that the next generation of wellness doesn’t have to follow the traditional playbook.

The latest proof point came with the launch of Tana Mongeau x FINNSUL Rocket Pop, which became the #1 launch in FINNSUL.com history, selling through 25% of its inventory within the first hour. The momentum was fueled by just two days of social teasing, driving more than 10,000 people to the waitlist and demonstrating FINNSUL’s ability to turn cultural conversation into immediate consumer demand.

What makes the moment remarkable isn’t simply that FINNSUL broke a launch record. It’s when it happened.

The collaboration arrived just five months after the brand’s debut—not after years of building awareness or establishing a traditional wellness footprint. In a category where credibility is often built slowly, FINNSUL is moving at the speed of culture, establishing itself as a challenger brand with the ambition to redefine what modern wellness looks and feels like.

FINNSUL isn’t simply entering the wellness conversation. It is helping shape what comes next.

The brand brings together meaningful function, GOOD-for-you ingredients, creator-led storytelling and the agility of a social-first company. In a category often dominated by clinical language, complicated routines and predictable marketing, FINNSUL is taking a different approach: making wellness feel expressive, entertaining and culturally relevant without compromising on function.

The brand was co-founded by Maureen Kelly, founder and CEO of tarte cosmetics, alongside her sons, Finn and Sully McDonough. Sully, 20, is a student at the University of Miami, while Finn, 19, attends the University of Texas. Maureen brings decades of experience building a disruptive, billion-dollar global beauty company, while Finn and Sully bring the firsthand perspective of the generation FINNSUL was created to serve.

The idea was born from their own fast-moving, overstimulated lifestyles—and a shared frustration with complicated wellness routines. Together, they set out to create a powdered drink mix that could support focus, energy and hydration in one simple step, while still delivering the taste and convenience people actually want to use every day.

Rocket Pop brings that philosophy to life. Inspired by the classic red, white and blue freezer pop, the flavor combines cherry, lime and blue raspberry. The formula features Cognizin citicoline, L-theanine, 150mg of natural caffeine, B vitamins and magnesium, with 0g of sugar and 10 calories.

For FINNSUL’s first major creator collaboration, the brand partnered with Tana Mongeau to do more than simply put a recognizable name behind a product. Together, they transformed Rocket Pop into a cinematic, Americana-inspired summer world, blending ’90s glamour, childhood nostalgia and Mongeau’s unmistakable perspective.

The result was designed to feel like culture first and advertising second—a creative approach that reflects FINNSUL’s broader philosophy of meeting consumers where they are and moving at the same pace they do.

“We did not create FINNSUL to fit into the wellness category. We created it to push the category forward,” said Sully and Finn McDonough, co-founders of FINNSUL. “Our generation expects products to work, but we also expect creativity, personality and brands that move at the speed of culture. To see this response only five months after launch showed us that people are ready for something different. Tana did not just put her name on Rocket Pop—she helped create a world around it.”

The response reinforces FINNSUL’s founding belief: the next generation shouldn’t have to choose between efficacy and excitement.

Wellness can be functional and fun. Credible and culturally relevant. Useful and worth sharing.

In just five months, FINNSUL has gone from a family idea to a viral, record-setting brand moment. And Rocket Pop isn’t the culmination of that momentum—it’s a signal of what comes next.

The future of wellness isn’t waiting to be defined. It’s already moving—and FINNSUL intends to move with it.
